Today Fosters Construction invited 29 locally owned businesses connected to Te Puna Pakihi Waikato-Tainui into Fosters HQ.

19 business took up the opportunity. In total there was 33 people that attended the hui and provided great feedback. This initiative shows the value in developing relationships with sector partners

Fosters helped support these businesses to understand the tendering process and answer any questions around securing mahi with their projects.

Fosters initiative means our Puna Pakihi businesses get an opportunity to understand how the big players in Waikato roll.

Heoi, ko taa maatou hei aawhina atu i ngaa kapahaka matua ki te kanohi mai i a Tainui waka i roto i te Matatini a teeraa tau.

Our group is called Te Takere o Te Waka o Tainui and represents Waikato-Tainui, King's Office and Tainui Group Holdings. For many of its performance it's a first stand at the Tainui Waka Regionals, but one eagerly anticipated.

It's an opportunity for us to help our senior kapahaka groups to get to Te Matatini 2025.
